A watershed plan is being developed for the Indian Creek Watershed. This watershed drains 256 square miles in Clark, Floyd and Harrison Counties in southern Indiana. Through the development of the watershed plan, we will develop a better understanding of the water quality problems affecting the streams in this watershed. A sinkhole inventory will help us to better understand these important karst features. The plan will outline ways to protect and improve the water resources of the Indian Creek Watershed to ensure continued economic development and excellent quality of life. |
